This was the newest hotel built in San Jose to go with the new Convention Center. That’s where President Clinton stayed when he came to San Jose. It is next to the San Jose Art Museum, the Tech Museum and a city park with the water fountains that erupt out of the ground and you can walk around them without getting wet. It’s a great place to be at, on a hot summer day. Many San Jose activities, such as parades, Christmas in the park as well as many concerts take place in this Cezar Chaves park. Every time I look at this painting I recall many activities that my family had enjoyed and participated in and around that building.
